He who will prattle on about himself is looking for personal recognition. On the other hand, the one looking for recognition for the one sending him is just honest and he isn't wrong in this.
Hasn't Moses given you the law? But not one out of you all considers the law. How do you look to destroy me?

Through this [the law], Moses has given you circumcision--not that it is from Moses but it is from the patriarchs--and on the Sabbath, you cut off and hem in a man on all sides.

Don't decide based how things look. Instead, decide [by] deciding [i.e. interpreting] the law.

I have seen him because I am from him. That one sent me.
For a little time I am with you as I am going to the one who sent me.
You are going to look for me and not only are you not going to discover me but where I am you lack the power to proceed.
If anyone might [say] "I have a longing," come to me and celebrate.
The writings have spoken of the one believing in me. From the emptiness within him, the streams of the changing time can perpetually change.
