It must be, however, this message of yours, yes yes, no no. Anything, however, more than these? They are from that worthlessness.
You heard that it was proclaimed, "An eye for the price of an eye, and a tooth for the price of a tooth."
And to the one desiring you to be judged and to take that shirt of yours? Leave him also that cloak.
And someone might commandeer you a mile? One? Go along with him--a couple!
To the one begging from you, give! And the one wanting to borrow for himself from you, you shouldn't want to turn away from.
You heard that it was said, "You should care for the one close to you, and you should despise the hostile to you."
I myself, however, tell you, "Care for those hated by your, and pray over the ones hounding you.
So that you might become for yourselves children of that Father of yours, the one in skies. Because he makes the sun of his rise up upon worthlessness and value. Also, he showers upon law-abiding and lawbreaking.
Because when you care for those caring for you, do you have some sort of compensation due? Certainly not! Even those tax collectors act the same.
Also, when you hug those friends of yours only, what more are you all doing out of the ordinary ? Assuredly not! And those foreigners act the same!
You will be really yourselves. Complete as that Father of yours, the sky one, is. Complete.
Hold on, however, to that virtue of yours. You don't want to perform in front of people for the purpose of being gazed at by them. But if not, indeed you are not having remuneration at the side of that Father of yours, the one in the heavens.
When you really perform a kindness, you do not want to blow your horn before you the same as those actors perform in those meeting places and on the crowded streets. This is so that they are recognized by the people. Ameni, I tell you: they are collecting in full that payment of theirs.
So, making with a kindness of yours, it must not know, that left of yours, anything it performs, that right hand of yours.
Also, when you all pray for yourselves. No, you will not be like those actors because they enjoy, in the meeting places and in the corners of the broadways, having stood to offer prayers for themselves. This is so they might shine among the people. Ameni, I tell you: they have received that compensation of theirs.
Praying for yourselves, however, you might not want to babble like those foreigners. Because they imagine that in the verboseness of theirs, they will be heeded.
You certainly don't want to become like them. Since he has seen, [the Divine,] that Father of yours, of what needs you all have before anyone. Ask him yourself.
In this way in fact you pray for yourselves, you yourselves: Father of ours, that one in the skies, it must be purified, this name of yours.
It must show up, this realm of yours. It must be made to happen, this delight of yours, as in sky also on earth.
This loaf, the existing upon, give us this day,
Also, let go for us those debts of ours. as even we ourselves let go of those debtors of ours.
Also, you might not want to bring us as far as a trial. Instead, draw us toward Yourself away from this worthless worry.
Because if you should let go for these people those blunders of theirs, he is going to let them go also for you, that Father of yours, the heavenly one.
When, however, you abstain, don't become like those actors: gloomy. Because they mask that face of theirs so that they might shine among men: fasting. Amen I tell you: they have received that compensation of theirs.
You, however, abstaining? Oil your head! And your face? Wash up!
That is not the way you want to shine to those people: fasting! Instead, to that Father of yours, the one in the hidden, and that Father of yours, the one seeing in the hidden, will give back to you.
Don't stockpile for yourselves a stockpile on the ground where a moth also a meal, erases and where robbers tunnel in and rob.
Since wherever it is, that stockpile of yours, in that place, it will be [also], this heart of yours.
The lamp of the body of work is the eye. When, in fact, it is, that eye of yours, focused, that whole body of work of yours will be a shining light.
No one has the power to slave for two masters. Because either he will despise the one and the other he will care for, or one he will attach to himself and the other he will look down upon. You do not have the power to slave for God and mammon.
By this I teach you: Don't worry, for that self of yours, what you should eat [or what you should drink]. Nor for that body of yours: what you should put on yourself. Certainly not! The self is greater than the meat. And this body? Part of the covering!
Look up towards the winged ones of the sky! Since they don't sow nor mow nor stow into storehouses, and that Father of yours, the sky one fattens them. None of you yourselves are different than them.
Who, however, out of you all, worrying, has the power to add to his age? a forearm? One?
Also, why worry about coverings? Examine closely the lady judges flowers of the field. How do they grow? They don't tire, nor do they spin.
If the fodder of the field, existing for today, and then tomorrow being tossed into an oven the Divine in this way clothes, with not much more [does he clothe] you? You tiny trusters!
You certainly shouldn't worry, saying: "What should we eat? What should we drink? to What should we put ourselves?
Seek, however, first that realm and that virtue of His, and all these things? They will be handed over to you.
You really shouldn't worry as far as that tomorrow because tomorrow will worry about itself. Adequate on this today, the trouble during it.
You all shouldn't judge so that you all aren't judged.
What, however, do you see? This speck in the eye of that brother of yours? That one, however, in this one, your eye? A roof beam! You don't see [it].
You shouldn't give these holy things to the dogs nor toss those pearls of yours in front of the sows. Not when they might trample them with those feet of theirs and being twisted might tear you all apart.
Ask, and it will given to you all; search and you all will discover; examine and it will be disclosed to you all:
Surely, Which from among you is a man? This child of his might beg this, a loaf.
All things, in fact. As much as. When you desire that they might produce for you, those people, so much also you yourselves must produce for them. Because this is the law and the prophets.
Enter by the narrow gate since wide and open the way, the one leading into that destruction, and many are the ones entering by it.
Watch out against these fake luminaries! Those who show up before you in coverings of sheep. Inwardly, however, they are rapacious wolves!
Every tree not wanting to produce fine fruit cuts itself off and into a fire it tosses itself.
Not everyone saying to me, "Master, master," is will get themselves into the realm of the skies. But the one producing the delight of that Father of mine, the one in the skies.
Many will say to me on that day, ‘Master! Master! By this, your name, weren't we luminaries? And by this, your name, we tossed out demons, and, by this your name, we performed many powerful deeds.
Everyone, really, anyone who is listening to mine, these ideas, these ones, and considers them, he will be compared to a practical fellow who constructed his, the house, on that rock.
And everyone listening to mine, these ideas, these ones, and not wanting to consider them, he will be compared to a foolish fellow who constructed his, this house, on the sand.
I do want. Be cleansed!
Watch out. Tell no one. Instead, bring yourself show to the priest and offer the gift, the one Moses commanded, as a proof for them.
I myself am coming. I will attend him.
Those, however, children of this realm will e tossed out into the darkness, the outside. In that place there will be the lamentation and the mastication of those teeth.
Depart. When you trust, it must be made to happen for you.
The vixens have dens and, the winged ones of the sky, perches. But this son of the man? He doesn't have anywhere, he might lean this head.
Follow me. And leave the dead to bury those, their own dead.
Why cowardly? Are you all tiny trusters?
Depart, [all of you]!
