Don't frighten yourselves, you little flock, because he constents, this Father of yours, to grant to you the reign. 

Sell those possessions of yours and give alms. Provide yourselves purses not growing old a treasure unfailing in the skies where a thief doesn't come near nor a moth ruin. 

For where it is, this treasure of yours, there also that heart of yours will be. 

They must be yours, these loins, having been fortified, and these lamps being burning.

And you yourselves like men expecting that lord of their own when he might get free from that wedding so that when showing up and knocking, straightway they might open for him. 

Fortunate: those servants there, whom the master, showing up, will discover watching. Amen, I tell you! Because he might fortify himself and make them recline and, being superior, serve them. 

And if in the second, and if in the third watch, he shows up and finds them so? Lucky are the ones there. 

But learn here that if the housemaster knew what hour the thief himself showed up, he would have woke up and not leave that household of his to be dug through.

Also you yourselves get ready. Because, at this hour you don't expect, the son of the man shows up.

Who isn't the trustworthy house manager and the wise one, whom the master will establish over that household of slaves of his for the giving in proper measure this portion of provisions?

Lucky that slave there: whom that master of his, showing up, will discover performing so excessively.

Obviously I tell you that he will establish him over all those belongings of his.

When, however, that servant there says in that heart of his, "That master of mine is taking time to show up". And he might start to strike the menservants and the womenservants, to eat and both to drink and to get himself drunk.

Will the master of that servant there show up on a day that he doesn't expect and on an hour that he doesn't know? And will he cut him apart. And that position of his with the untrustworthy? He will set it up.

There, however, that servant, the one learning  the will of that master of his and not getting ready or performing for that will of his? He will be flogged much. 

The one, however, not learning but so performing? Worthy of blows? He will be beaten--slightly. To everyone, however, to whom is given much? Much will be required from him. And to whom they provided by themselves much more excessively. They will claim him. 

I started a fire to throw over the earth. And how I wish that it was already catching on.

Do you imagine that I arrived to give peace on the earth? Didn't I tell you rather instead dissension?

Because they will exist, from this present moment on, five within a single house, having been split apart, three against a couple and a couple against three. 

They shall be split apart: father against son and son against father;  mother against daughter and daughter against the mother; mother-in-law against that daughter-in-law of hers, and daughter-in-law against that mother-in-law. 

Whenever you see a cloud rising during the sunsetting, immediately you say that a rainstorm shows up and it happens in this way. 

And whenever a south wind [is] blowing? You say that there will be a burning heat. and it happens.

You actors! the roles of the earth and the sky you have seen to evaluate. The season here, however? How have you e not seen to evaluate?

But also: why don't you decide this right by yourselves?

Because as you depart with that opponent of yours to an official, on the way give a trade to have yourself rid of him. Not when he might haul you before the judge and the judge will hand you over to the punisher, and the punisher will toss you into a prison. 

I tell you. You might never get out of there until also that last penny you should repay.

Do you imagine that those Galileans there became erring beyond all these Galileans because they went through these things ?

Or those eighteen there upon whom the tower in that Siloam fell and killed them. Do you imagine that they themselves became loan debtors compared with all those men, the ones inhabiting Jerusalem." 

Certainly not, I tell you! Instead, when you will not change your minds, you all in the same way will destroy yourselves . 

A somebody had a fig tree  having been planted in that vineyard of his, and he showed up searching for fruit in it and didn't discovered any. 

He, said however, to the vine dresser, "Look, three years I show up by it, desiring fruit on this fig tree here and I don't find it. Cut it down! Because this sort just leaves the earth unemployed. 

The one, however, answering says to him, "Master, Leave it there just this year until this: I dig all around it and toss it manure. 

And if, truly it produces fruit in the future--If, however, truly not, you chop it off. 

Woman, you have freed yourself of that weakness of yours. 

You, actors! Each of you on the Sabbath, don't you by yourself untie that ox of yours--or that ass--from the crib and, leading away, yourself water it?

This one, however, being a daughter of Abraham whom the adversary bound. Look, ten and eight years! Isn't she needed to be released from that bound there on the day of the Sabbath. 

Is the realm of the Divine alike anything? And I should compare it to what? 

Similar is the kernel of mustard that a person, acquiring, tossed into an orchard of  his own. And it grew and turned into a tree and the winged ones of the air perched in those branches of it.

To what should I compare the realm of the skies?

Fight to enter by the narrow gate because many, I tell you. might seek to enter and won't be able. 

At that time, you will be the first to say, "We ate facing you, and we drank, and you in these streets of ours, taught.  

And he will speak, saying to you, "I haven't seen where you are. You set yourselves apart from me, all you producers of lawbreaking." 

In that place, the crying and the chattering of those teeth will be. When you will observe for yourselves Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob and all the enlighted in the realm of the Divine, then you being tossed  outside. 

And  they will arrive out of east and west and out of north and south and they will recline in the realm of the Deity. 

And, voila! They are last? Those ones will be first! And they are first? Those ones will be last. 

Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one slaying the prophets, and stoning the ones having been sent to her. So many times, I wanted to collect these children of yours this manner a bird [has] that nest of her own young under the wings. And you didn't want [it].

Look, it gets rid of you, this house of yours.  I, however, tell you, you should never see me until you might say, "Having been honored [is] the one showing up in name of Master."

Will a son of any of you, or an ox, fall into a reservoir? And will you not immediately pull him up by yourself on the day of the Sabbath? 

Whenever you are invited by anyone into a wedding, you should not lay yourself on the foremost couches.  Not when,  a more honorable one than you may be there, having been invited by him.

And showing up, the one inviting you and him will say to you, "Give to this person here a place." And then you will be the first withdishonor to occupy that furthest place. 

Because every one lifting himself high will be lowered. And the one lowering himself will be lifted higher. 

Whenever you make a breakfast or lunch, don't call those friends of yours nor those family members of yours nor those relatives of yours nor wealthy neighbors not when they themselves also invite you in turn and it becomes a bribe for you. 

But when an entertainment you produce, invite beggarly--you multiply to infinity--limping, dim.

A man, a someone, made a great banquet, and he invited many. 

And he sent that servant of his at the time of the meal to say to those having been called, "Start out because it is ready here now.

And they all as one began to beg off. The first said to him, "I bought A field, " and I have a need for going out to see it. I ask you, bear me having begged off. 

And another said, "I married a woman and, by this, I am not able to show up. 

And that servant, said,  "Master, what you ordered has happened and still there is space.

And that master said in reply to that servant, "Go out into the highways and roadblocks and compel them to come in, that mine, this house, might be stuffed.

Because I say to you that not one of those men, those there, those  invited, will taste mine, this meal.
